Congratulation to LandVault (formerly Admix) on the recent mergerer and launch!
I had an opportunity to attend their LinkedIn audio live session this morning, where they talked about how they are helping brands enter and monetize the Metaverse.
John Kraski, Charles Adkins and Samuel Huber are some of the brightest minds in the space and drop so many gems. Thank you for an insightful morning!
Top 3 Insights
1/ Users first
Build and design a space that adds value, addresses user needs and foster engagement with your community. The ecosystem is expanding into multiple industries and verticals, however, the most sought after audience is Generation Alpha. As the community grows, it is a delicate dance to add value to existing customers, while innovating and attracting new customers. Focus on user needs and you will be golden.
2/ Partnerships
Partner with consultants and studios that have done it before… LandVault has build out 80 metaverse spaces… they seen it all. While folks want to be first, I am true believer it is important to be right mitigate risk and lower costs by partnering trust advisors. This is not the time to go alone nor do it cheap. Invest!
3/ Utility
While announcements of metaverse entries can draw tons of press. There is a huge upside to thinking long-term by adding utility and benefits. NFTs, metaverse and overall Web3 strategy allows you to build consumer loyalty programs that retains current customers and extend your product lifecycle ie NFTs, tokens etc. Think long-term strategy.
Bonus
For the individual artists, creatives and smaller projects considering entering the metaverse. Don’t be discouraged it is still early and time to learn… schedule the consult meeting with an expert, do your research on YouTube, evaluate and leverage your strengths and consider partnering with other creatives in the space. If there is a will there is a way!
I would love to hear about cool metaverse projects and how folks are entering the space. Please share in the comments.
